Situated in 25 acres of Devon countryside, Fallapit House was first built around the 14th century. In 1815 it was rebuilt and later extended in the mid 19th century to become St Thomas More School.
The redevelopment of Fallapit House entails the demolition of the recent school buildings whilst retaining all the elements of the older house, stables, service buildings and gardens. The house is to be converted for residential use with additional units being built within the grounds. The surrounding area will be opened up, returning the setting of the house to its previous and intended grandeur.
