Threadripper 3: 3990x

The AMD Threadripper 3 CPUs are now some of the fastest CPU’s around. So, we decided to spec our latest workstation with the top of the range 3990x, and it didn’t disappoint. The 3990x rendered up to 3-4 times faster than our existing workstations giving a huge boost to our network rendering capacity. We also found that using the CPU for viewport rendering whilst working on the 3D model allowed us to work in near real-time. A huge time saver!
